One thing is fact, we are all slaves of our emotions. There are both negative and positive emotions that govern our minds. Positive emotions are those that bring happiness to us as well as to all those around us.

These emotions are love, compassion, forgiveness, kindness etc.ANGER-No-Control-Over-Emotion Negative emotions are those that make us restless and unhappy and also force us to spread the same to everyone around. Hate, envy, jealousy, possessiveness, suspicion etc are negative emotions.

Anger however, is the most destructive of all emotions. Anger is one emotion that changes the person completely.

We say few things in anger that we regret for later. We lose our close friends and hurt our families at times when we are ruled by anger. It takes a lot of endurance from those who live with people with quick or hot tempers. Anger destroys one’s peace of mind and the minute one sees it rising, one must begin to breathe deeply, or count to ten. This distracts the mind from the thought that caused the anger. Meditation and prayer are also good ways to control this extremely destructive emotion. People often make great mistakes in their lives when they are angry. They spend many years in trying to undo the damage that they cause to others and most of all to themselves.

Let me give you an example. There were two friends Yash and Palak. Both were best friends, secretly both used to love each other, but never admitted their feelings. One day a new guy named Chirag entered their group. He got attracted to Palak and became a close friend of Palak. Yash got jealous and misunderstood them. One day Palak did a favour for Chirag, Chirag got so happy that he went straight away to corridor where Palak was standing and hugged her. At that time Yash came there and saw them, and without thinking anything he started hitting Chirag. Chirag got hurt very badly and had bruises all over his face. Palak tried to stop Yash but he had lost his control. Chirag went unconscious and was hospitalized. After gaining his sanity, Yash came to know the truth. He went to Palak and apologized and also admitted his feelings for Palak but she refused…. She said “I can never love a person who has no control on his anger “and she left him and went away. Yash had to pay for his anger for his whole life. The less we give in to our anger the happier can our lives become.

Usually, not everyone experiences anger of the same magnitude. If 10 people were all faced with the same problem, all 10 would react differently. The people who get annoyed easily have a low tolerance for frustration. There is evidence that some children are born irritable, touchy, and easily annoyed. It is best to find out what is it that triggers your anger, and then develop strategies to keep those triggers from pouching you over the edge.

You’re always going to run into people that make you angry and you can’t change that but you can change how you react to them. It’s normal to get defensive when someone criticizes you. But you need to give yourself time to think about it and not let your anger get out of control.

Some problems don’t have easy solutions and that could make you frustrated and angry if you can’t solve something right away. If you focus on how you handle your reactions and how you face the problem instead of trying to find a solution, it makes it a whole lot easier to manage. Better communication is the key to manage ANGER …

So, My Dear Readers I will suggest you to keep your anger in control and I will end up this blog with a Chinese proverb “One who gets up with anger will sit only with loss”.
